My Mobile Work Station

I picked up the Asus Eee 4gb last week, before a trip to New York.
I was really happy I did. I usually travel light so my iBook stays ar home.

This was a great purchase. I was able to fax some documents from the Eee that I stored on the 8gb sd cars. Wrote a presentaion that came up ar the last moment.
The perfect mobile companion for my Palm Centro.

My review of the SPE GloveFit for palm Centro

My Revie wof the SPE Glovefit for Palm
 Centro

Its a very tight fitting case. So tight infact that I couldn't feel the buttons I was pressing at times. This is a bummer, the main point of a keyboard is to be able to PRESS THE KEYS. That alone killed the case for me.

The build quality seems cheap. The leather seems very coarse, not soft like the Krusell Classic design SPE is trying to imitate. Also, the dye job is not very good. If you look at the pictures closely the inside of the case has brown spray paint on the inside of the case. Clearly the quality controler missed this case.

Overall. A below average case.
I think if the plastic overlay was only over the screen and not the keys, the case would be more usable.

My Palm Centro the iPod

One advantage of working by my self. Is being able to enjoy my Shure ic3-t headphones, Palm Centro, PocketTunes, 2000+ songs and a 6GB Microsd card. I rock out everyday.

I also love the fact that Treonauts is telling it like it is. blog.treonauts.com/2008/02/centro-microsdh.html?utm_source=tnhome&utm_medium=mobile

Go grab a bigger card and stick some music on there. Apples not the only place to download music...... More after the break.

Emergency Pack. Do you have one?

Just sittin at home enjoying my lunch and watching the news.
Huge power outage in South Florida, made me think of how much we rely on eletricity. Kind of daunting to think about.

How many of us have emergency packs, preped and ready to go?

I have the following: extra batteries, flash lights, canned foods, emergency family meet up plans, walkie talkies, water, Proporta charger for the Centro of course :-D, compass, pocket knife, radio, Nintendo DS, I still have more to get..

Something to think about.

Advance Wars for Nintendo ds

I am totally addicted to this game. I have had it for a week and I have played it non stop.
My wife keeps giving me funny looks. I think I should take a break. Before she kills me;-)
